HOUSTON - Caleb W. Shaw died suddenly on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013 in Milford Memorial Hospital. Caleb was born in Milford, Del. He worked as a truck driver at Portable Buildings in Frederica. Caleb was happiest when he was deep in the woods hunting, off shore fishing or barbequing with his friends; but most of all, he loved spending time with his daughter Summer, who he adored. He is survived by his daughter, Summer M. Shaw of Lewes; his parents, Clare and Jim Shaw of Milford; his maternal grandparents, Peggy and Franny Wallace of Wilmington; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where friends may call from 11 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Summer M. Shaw Education Fund, 24 Beaver Dam Road, Milford, DE 19963. Please make checks payable to Summer M. Shaw.
