DOVER - Bridget Gallagher passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2012, in the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, surrounded by her loving family. She was 85. She was born on Feb. 3, 1927, in Northern Ireland, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth McAnaney. In her early years she had worked as a nurse. She enjoyed Irish music, dancing, thrift shopping, traveling and was a devoted loving mother to all. Bridget is survived by two daughters, Winnie Gallagher, and Patricia Gallagher; grandson, Liam Gallagher; brother-in-law, John McDaid; former husband, Frank Gallagher; nieces, Bridgeen Kelly, and Cynthia MacDonald; and grandnieces. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, March 30, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Mass of Christian Burial will be 8 a.m. Saturday, March 31, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State St., Dover. Burial will be private in Pennsylvania.
