Welch Morris, 54 HARRINGTON - Brenda Sue Welch Morris, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. Brenda was born in Milford, Del. the daughter of the late Louis and Anna Jeanette (Gustafson) Welch. She worked as an operations analyst at Bayhealth Medical Center, Kent General, Dover for over 36 years. She assisted with the Boy Scouts when her husband John was an assistant Boy Scout Leader. She was a former member of the Harrington Fire Company. She enjoyed reading and watching her TV shows. She loved spending time with her family and granddaughter and enjoyed helping John at Houston Fire Company affairs and alarms. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Louis Welch; and two grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 31 years John N. Morris; a daughter, Jaime LeAnn Blythe and her husband Dr. James Blythe; a granddaughter, Rebecca Lynn Blythe; a sister Bonnie Smith; a brother, Donnie Welch; a former sister-in-law Carrie Flagg-Nester; three nephews, Tyler Welch, Chuckie Welch and Louie Welch; as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends may call on Friday evening, Oct. 19, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where a good old fashioned Hymn Sing will be held at 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington, Del. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Houston Fire Company, P.O. Box 122, Houston, De 19954.
