BRIDGEVILLE - Beverly June Simpson Roser, of Bridgeville, Del., passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford, Del. She was born in Atlanta, Ga., on Thursday, Jan. 26, 1956, daughter of Douglas R. Simpson and the late June (Harting) Simpson. Mrs. Roser grew up in Bridgeville. She attended Woodbridge High School and graduated with the class of 1975. She worked a lifelong career for Hardee's and Wal-Mart in Seaford, Del., where she loved all the locals who frequently visited her. Mrs. Roser was active for several years in the Seaford Senior Center and the Seaford Red Hats Society. She was very talented at crochet and enjoyed making countless lap blankets which she donated to numerous residents at the local nursing homes. Most of all, Mrs. Roser enjoyed the time spent with her family and friends, especially time spent with her nieces and nephews who were the apples of her eyes. Mrs. Roser was a kind and outgoing person and instantly considered everyone a friend. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, great aunt, and dear friend who will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Roser was preceded in death by her loving husband, Stephen Roser in 2005. In addition to her father, she is survived by her brother, Douglas Simpson, Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Bridgeville, Del.; two sisters, Linda Colona of Bridgeville, and Susan Dixon and her husband Bob of Dalton, Ga.; four nieces, Jana Simpson, Jaime Simpson, Morgan Scott and her husband Eric, and Shannon Green; her nephew, Brian Butler; nine great nieces; four great nephews; and her two loving boxers, Gertie and Bentley. Funeral services were held on Friday, Aug. 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville, DE., where friends called beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial immediately followed services at Unity-Washington Cemetery, Hurlock, MD.
