DOVER - Betty Welch, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015, in Kent General Hospital. She was 91. Betty was born, November 16,1923, in Chestertown, Md., to the late, Paul & Edith (Dhue) Nickerson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Chance; and a grandson, Randy Chance. Betty is survived by two children, Diane Nemith & her husband, Steve, of Felton and Wayne Welch, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, Leonard "Pete" Nickerson, of Goldsboro, Md.; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2015, in Templeville Cemetery, Templeville, Md. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com
