Betty Jo Wilhoite

DOVER - Betty Jo Wilhoite passed away suddenly, Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012 in Kent General Hospital. Betty Jo was born Sept. 9, 1950 in Evansville, Ind. to the Late Jasper & Mary (Folz) Brooks. She was a member of the Friendship Ministries and the First Christian Church, both of Evansville, Ind. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, traveling, and enjoyed going to the zoo and museums. In addition to her parents, Betty Jo was preceded in death by a brother, George Brooks. She is survived by eight children, Christina Walker of Kenosha, Wis.; Amanda Walker of Racine, Wis.; Richard Jewell, John Walker, Matthew Walker, Christopher Kissel, Teresa Baity, and Lisa Rosanna Gibbs, all of Evansville, Ind.; two sisters, Belva Folz of Evansville, and Diane Peckingpaugh of Jacksonville, Fla.; and 22 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Evansville, Indiana. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
