Betty Hastings Perdue

Perdue, 82 SEAFORD - Betty Hastings Perdue, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012. Born in Bridgeville, on March 27, 1930, the daughter of the late Rachel and Raymond Hastings. She was a homemaker and she attended the First Baptist Church in Seaford. She is survived by two sons, J. Frank Perdue and wife Kathy of Georgetown, and Ronald Perdue and wife Renee of Laurel; a daughter, Connie O'Neal and husband Ray of Laurel; grandchildren, Wade Perdue and Brandon Perdue of Georgetown, Brian Allen of Seaford, Jodi Everett of Seaford, Beth Anthony of Wilmington, and Kyrie Perdue of Jacksonville, Fla.; step-grandchildren, Julie Maisch, Ray O'Neal III, Amy Parsons and Michael Rash, all of Laurel, Wade O'Neal of Seaford, Terry Jones of Exton, Pa; ten great-grandchildren; twelve step-great-grandchildren; and two step-great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Hastings of Seaford; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by brothers, Thomas, Donald, Pete, and Robert Hastings; and sisters, Martha Penny Jones, and Margaret Knowles. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front and King St., Seaford, DE, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to services. Pastor Richard Blades will officiate. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Seaford, DE.
