DELMAR - Bertha E. "Bert" Davis went home to be with the Lord Monday, May 8, 2017, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake, Salisbury, Md.
She was born on Dec. 31, 1931, in Wyoming, to the late Titus and Alice Seaman Hobbs.
"Bert" was a waitress in the Smyrna and Dover area and had a day care at her home in Dover. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Davis, in 1989.
She is survived by son, David Cox, of Delmar; brothers, Sam Hobbs, of Deal Island, Md., and Stanley Hobbs, of Wyoming; and sister, Margaret Harrall, of Dover.
Services will be held Monday, May 15, 2017, at 11 a.m., at Trader Funeral Home in Dover.
Burial will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
Friends may call Sunday, May 14, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover.
