(Elliott) Rementer, 93 GEORGETOWN - Beatrice Elizabeth (Elliott) Rementer, lifelong resident of Georgetown, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 at Harrison Senior Living in Georgetown. Beatrice was born in Shortly, daughter of the late Harvey E. and Cora (Short) Elliott. She was an Inspector with the E.I. DuPont Nylon Plant in Seaford for over 25 years, retiring in 1972. Beatrice was a member of Wesley U.M. Church. She enjoyed flower gardening, yard work and reading. She especially loved spending time with her family. Beatrice was a loving mother and grandmother who always said "I Love You". She will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Chester James Rementer; and her siblings, Evelyn Guffey, Alfred Elliott, Vertie Conaway and Helen Breasure. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, David and Ruth E. Rementer; a daughter and son-in-law Josephine and Alvin Kruger; four grandchildren, Dawn Elliott, Pam Parker, David Rementer, Jr., and Trudy Kruger; and four great-grandchildren, Matthew Parker, Meghan Elliott, Kelsey Rementer and Mackenzie Rementer. A funeral service will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, where friends may call after 12 p.m. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Georgetown.
