DOVER — At a recent event hosted by the Bayhealth Foundation, Medical Director of Neurosurgery Dr. Dawn Tartaglione spoke to Capital City Rotary Club members about how the provider is delivering the latest in neurosurgical options as a part of its mission to use the most advanced and safest treatments.
More specifically, Dr. Tartaglione discussed the range of routine and complex procedures she and her colleagues perform. She emphasized how advanced technologies, such as the robotically guided ExcelsiusGPS navigation platform for spine surgery, are making safer, more precise and minimally invasive neurosurgeries possible at Bayhealth.
The doctor also shared how the expansion of Bayhealth’s neurosurgery practices in Dover and Lewes are increasing access to care.
As she closed her talk, Dr. Tartaglione fielded questions from the audience.
