SUDLERSVILLE - In loving memory of Barbara L. Burris, who went to be with her Lord on Friday, March 18, 2016, at her home in Sudlersville. Barbara L. Burris was born Oct. 3, 1943 in Kent County Del., the daughter of the late William Lawrence and Beatrice Webbert. After graduating from Smyrna High School, she married at a young age and began to start her family. Mrs. Burris worked at Leeds Travel Ware and then worked at Playtex, where she retired in 1984. Barbara enjoyed playing BINGO and going to the slots in Dover. She enjoyed crocheting, collecting movies, reading and collections home interior. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and her dogs, Titi, Sassey, Rocky and Twister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Donald Lawrence and Billy Morris; daughter Diane Burris; granddaughter Jamie Leigh Bonsall; and grandson Will Sutton. She is survived by her husband, James Burris Sr. of Sudlersville; her brother Ernest Webbert of Kenton, Del.; sister, Joan Burris of Sudlersville; son, Angelo Burris Sr. of Sudlersville; daughters, Tina Bonsall of Bridgeville, Del., Lori Ann Burris of Elkton, Fla., Barbara James or Sudlersville; son, James R. Burris Jr. of Sudlersville; grandchildren, Christopher Sapp, Angelo Burris, Jr., Bobbie Sutton, Joshuah Bonsall, Rachel Miller, Heather Miller, Daniel Campbell, Ashley Freysinger, Jessica Melvin, Derek Burris, Chelsea James, Brent Burris; and 14 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 from 6-8pm at Fellows Family Funeral Home 370 Cypress St. Millington, MD. A service will be held on Sat.
