DOVER - Barbara Elliott Palmer passed away in her home, in the loving presence of her family on Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013. She was born Aug. 10, 1933 in Delmar, Del. to Edwin and Elizabeth Elliott. She enjoyed travelling, line dancing, reading, and flower arranging. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed spending time at the Modern Maturity Center. She worked as a secretary at the DAFB 436 Material Control. She is survived by her husband, Charles Palmer; their children, Patricia Lynn Rose, of N.C., Nancy Anne Tallon, of Del., and Neal Edward Palmer, of Fla.; She will be deeply missed by her 12 grandchildren, Chris Kenny, Edward Kenny, Patrick Kenny, Carrie Kenny, Matthew Kenny, Autumn Fowells, Katie Pippen, T.R. Pettis, Jake Palmer, Stephanie Carman, Dustin Carman, and Alex Carman; as well as her 13 great-grandchildren; her sister, Patricia House, and other family, friends, and former co-workers. A memorial service for Barbara will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013 at the Wyoming United Methodist Church, Wyoming, DE. A time of Fellowship will follow thereafter at the Family Life Center. Burial will be private. Letter of condolences may be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
