Barbara Elizabeth Rooney, 56
CRISFIELD - Barbara Elizabeth Rooney, 56, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Ross A. Jones.
She is survived by her mother, Betty Ann Warrington Jones; her husband Donald M. Rooney Jr.; 12 children and their spouses, Michael D. Rooney of Saskatchewan, John P. Rooney, Eric M. Rooney of Lancaster, Pa., Benjamin D. Rooney of Pennsylvania, Andrew C. Rooney and Daniel C. Rooney of Crisfield, E. Jeanette Sexton and her husband, Joseph, of Lancaster, Jennifer K. Rooney of Salisbury, Michelee Kemp and husband, John, of Ocean City, Jessica A. Rooney, and Andrea Rooney and Amanda A. Rooney of Crisfield; 12 grandchildren; a brother, Ross T. Jones of Landisville, Pa.; a sister, Carol Ann Jones of Dunmore, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Catholic Church, 100th Street and Coastal Highway in Ocean City. A private family interment will be at a future date.
Arrangements were handled by Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin.
