CHESWOLD - Barbara Ann Willett passed away peacefully on Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Willett was born Oct. 24, 1953 in West Jefferson, N.C., the daughter of the late Edison Riddle and Katherine Davis. She retired as a Dietary Aide for the Governor Bacon Health Center in Delaware City. Barbara liked cooking, making homemade bread and candy, and collecting her Indian memorabilia. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Riddle. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Carl; two daughters, Sandy Migliavacca and her husband, Brian and Lisa Ivry and her husband, Michael; her son, Carl, II and his wife, Mary; her brother, Edward Riddle; two sisters, Nora Jean Riddle and Patricia Riddle; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, DE. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
