Autism Delaware has named the grand marshals for its 2022 Walks for Autism.
One is a preschooler, and the other a working adult. Both have autism spectrum disorder and exemplify the agency’s full scope of services across all ages.
Aven Foskey of Bridgeville is 3 years old and was diagnosed with autism last year. As the grand marshal for the Walk for Autism at Hudson Fields in Milton on Oct. 15, Aven will kick off the event with his parents, Tanielle and Chris Foskey, by his side. This will be the second year the Foskey team, Aven’s Journey, has participated in the event.
Tony Graci of Delaware City is 29 and a participant in Autism Delaware’s adult vocational program, POW&R (Productive Opportunities for Work & Recreation). As the grand marshal for the walk at Fort DuPont in Delaware City on Oct. 8, he will be joined by his parents, Mike and Jane Graci, along with a host of Tony’s Team supporters to kick off the event. The Gracis have been a part of the walk since its inception 15 years ago.
