SALISBURY - Ashley Marie Schibinger died Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Ashley was a 9th grade student at Wicomico High School and member of JROTC and JROTC Color Guard. She enjoyed reading, loved the color yellow and was a talented artist. Ashley was born in Milford, DE., to Shane and Lisa (Benton) Schibinger. In addition to her parents, Ashley is survived by three sisters, Samantha, Shaina and Hailey Schibinger; a half-sister, Felicia Schibinger; maternal grandfather, William Benton and his wife Yolanda; paternal grandmother, Barbara Coleman; nieces, Paiton Schibinger and Zary'a Dickerson; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 at Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, with visitation after 11 a.m. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to American Lung Association at www.lung.org for asthma research.
