Beauregard, 88 Rehoboth Beach - Arthur Omer Beauregard passed away May 15, 2014 at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Delaware. He was born on May 2, 1926 in Manchester, New Hampshire. In 2001, he and his wife Claire (Robert) Beauregard relocated to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware to enjoy the beach area and to be closer to their only grandchildren. Claire passed away in Dec. of 2003 after 55 years of marriage to Arthur. For the past 11 years, Arthur was cared for by his sons where he enjoyed the ambiance of the Lewes and Rehoboth communities. His last years were relished by evening visits from a toddler named Quentin Kelly Hickman. He is survived by four children, Charles R. Beauregard of Rehoboth Beach, Adele J. Hagen of Tjome, Norway, Celeste M. Venables of Arnold, Md. and Andre M. Beauregard, Esquire of Lewes, Del. and his children Naval Lt. Adam M. Beauregard of San Diego, Cali., and Rosie Claire Beauregard of St. John, New Brunswick, Canada. A private ceremony is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Delaware.
