Arlene M. Ferrero

VIOLA - Arlene M. Ferrero passed away Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at Genesis Eldercare Milford. She was born on Aug. 16, 1937 in Newark, N.J. to the late Stephen and Margaret Walko. She was a member of Holy Cross Church Dover, Frederica Senior Center, AARP, Modern Maturity Center Dover, RRR Club, American Legion Auxiliary Dover, Dover YMCA, New Comers Club. She worked in customer service at Public Service Gas and Electric in Newark, N.J. and retired in 1993. She graduated in 1956 from Barringer High School in Newark, N.J. She is survived by her brother, Leonard S. Walko of Frederica, Del.; niece, Cindy Roskowski of Viola; and grand nephew, Ed D. Roskowski of Port St. Lucie, Fla. Services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at Trader Funeral Home in Dover. Friends may call one hour before the time of the service. Burial will be at the St. Bartholomew Cemetery Brocton, Pa. on Tuesday. The family request that memorial contributions be given to American Diabetes Association 100 West 10th Street Suite 1002 Wilmington, DE 19801 Letters of condolences may be sent to www.delmarvaobits.com or traderfh@aol.com
