MILFORD - Anthony (Tony) Assia (age 72), formerly of Bowie, Md., died on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in Milford. Tony is survived by his beautifully caring and supportive wife, Elizabeth (Betty) Assia. Tony was a devoted and loving husband for 49 years. He is survived by sons, Brian (Laura), Matthew (Shelley) and Marcus; and grandchildren, Caroline, Nicholas, Samuel, Ethan, and Audrey; and siblings, Mike Assia, Paul Assia and Sarah Louise Peters. Tony was a federal employee with the U.S. General Accounting Office for 35 years. His warm smile, kind heart, and gentle soul will be greatly missed by family and friends. Family received friends from 10am to 11am at the family-owned Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, Md. on Monday, September 15, 2014, followed by a 12 Noon Mass of Christian Burial, which was celebrated at Sacred Heart Chapel, 16501 Annapolis Rd, Bowie, Md.
