Robinson Donovan, 99 GALENA, MD - Anne "Tilley" Robinson Donovan died Mar. 20, 2013 in Broadmeadow Nursing Home, Middletown, Del. Anne was born on Feb. 10, 1914, daughter of the late Harry E. and Arabel Price Robinson. She was raised on the Barr Farm near Townsend, Del. Her career included working for Calotex, Dover Builders, Summit Aviation and International Latex. She also worked as a clerk for Golts Post Office. She was a member of St. Stephen's Church and Professional Business Women's Assoc. Mrs. Donovan was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Howard L. Donovan, Jr; two sons, Harry R. Donovan and Howard L. Donovan, III; two sisters, Margaret Daniels and Arabel 'Sis' Powell; and a grandson, Ronnie Lee Donovan. She is survived by three children, Elizabeth A. Short (Bill) of Chestertown, Md., Lindsey P. Donovan (Roxann) of Massey, Md., and Jeanette D. Reynolds (Jimmy) of Sassafras, Md.; daughter-in-law, Alice Donovan of Chestertown; a sister, Ellen Bowman; 15 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call on Sun., Mar. 24, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD. A viewing will be held on Mar. 25, 2013 from 12 to 12:45 p.m. in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 10 Glebe Rd. Earleville, MD, where service will begin at 1 pm.
