LEWES - Anna Ruth Jones, age 76, a long time Lewes resident died Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford after a lengthy illness with her loving son, Tony, at her side. Anna was born March 31, 1935, in Atlanta, Ga., to the late Cora Jones. Anna was one of the Cook's at the former Angler's Restaurant, over the canal bridge in Lewes, her speciality were the delicious Crab Cakes, her own secret recipe. Anna Ruth also worked many years at Beebe Hospital as an aide. Survivors include her son, Anthony Lee and Anna Belle Jones of Milton; one granddaughter and husband, Tina and Juan Rosaio of Milford; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, Edward Jones of Wilmington. Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at Friendship Baptist Church, 500 W. 4th St., Lewes, where friends may call two hours before service.
