FELTON - Anna Mae Pinder, of Felton, formerly of Bridgeville, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, at the Kent General Hospital in Dover. Born in N.C., Mrs. Pinder was the daughter of the late Merle Blane Wilhelm and Florence Mae Smith Wilhelm. Her husband, John Robert Pinder, died in 1973. Mrs. Pinder was a great mother who was known for her biscuits and cooking. She loved doing arts and crafts and taught many others to do them also. She was a past member of the Cheer Senior Citizen's group in Bridgeville. She loved country and gospel music and also loved going to the slots. She is preceded in death by a stepson, Hewitt Pinder; one sister, Dolly Meredith; and four brothers, Lawrence Wilhelm, Frank Wilhelm, Merle Wilhelm, and Charles Wilhelm. Mrs. Pinder is survived by three sons, John A. Pinder of Bridgeville, James N. Pinder and his wife Clara of Harrington, and Ralph E. Pinder and his wife Teresa of Felton; four daughters: Ellie M. McKnight of Greenwood, Charlotte Bright of Denton, Md., Mary Elizabeth Littleton of Greenwood, and Lillian Marie Smith and her husband Robert of Greenwood; one brother, James C. Wilhelm of Frederica; five sisters: Louise Kulhanek of Dover, Mary Ann Longfellow of Wyoming, Barbara Hutson of Goldsboro, Md., Hazel Longfellow of Milford, and Florence Sewell of Greensboro, Md.; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second Street in Denton where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
