Milton - Anna Mae Millman died on Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015 peacefully at home. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Elsie Willey. Anna Mae graduated from Milton High School in 1958 and married the love of her life, Gene Millman in May of 1959. In her professional career, Anna Mae worked for Beebe Hospital for 29 years holding different positions within the hospital with her final position as Administrative Assistant to the CFO. After a long and distinguished career, she retired in 2002 to enjoy time with her family. Anna Mae enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, tinkering outside in the garden, working on the "honey do list" with her husband, and entertaining friends and family at her home, which was her pride and joy. She also cherished the time spent with the CHEER group girls and delivering Meals on Wheels meals. Anna Mae is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gene Millman; her son, Gene Millman, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Hockessin; three grandchildren, Adam, Nina and Alicia; two sister-in-laws, Doris Davis and husband Ralph Davis and Karen Siegfried, both of Milton as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be held Friday, Jan. 9, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where a visitation will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 pm.
