Anna Mae Marine Harris, 58

DENTON - Anna Mae Marine Harris, of Denton, passed away in her home on Friday, Jan. 23, 2009. She was 58 years old. She was born March 29, 1950, in Cambridge, the daughter of the late James G. and Betty June Arnett Marine. She was a graduate of North Dorchester High School class of 1968. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, playing pool, knitting, visiting neighbors and playing with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Harvey Lee Harris, whom she married on Oct. 31, 1986; a son and his wife, James "Jimmy" Travers Jr. and Shelly of East New Market; three grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon, and Amber Travers all of East New Market; a brother, Fred F. Marine of Cambridge; a niece, Johanna Marie Marine of Phoenix, Ariz.; and a nephew, Justin Wyatt Marine of St. Michaels. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Otis H. Marine. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Thursday, at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Douglas Morley officiating. Burial will follow in Unity-Washington Cemetery in Hurlock. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and from noon to 1 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Fred Marine, Tyler Travers, Stephen Wiles, Krista Wiles, Bryan Blann, J.R.
