Anna Elizabeth Irons

(Havelow) Irons, 92 FELTON - Anna Elizabeth (Havelow) Irons, passed away Sept. 16, 2012, nine days short of her 93rd birthday. She was born to the late James Tilghman and Anna Frampton. Mrs. Irons was a loving wife who devoted her life to raising her family. She was a member of the Harrington Senior Center. Mrs. Irons enjoyed travelling with her husband Charles and little dog, Dusty. She enjoyed spoiling her many grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Irons Sr.; son, Robert Havelow; and step-daughter, Linda Donovan. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Ann Havelow of Felton; daughter-in-law, Emily Ann Havelow of Felton; step-daughter, Judy Walls of Felton; step-sons, Charles and Sandy Irons of Milford, and Wayne and Marilyn Irons of Port Charlotte, Fla.; sister-in-law, Mary Sue Thawley of Magnolia; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and many great and great-granchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Silver Lake Nursing Home and Heartland Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thurs., Sept. 20, 2012 at the Melvin Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be in the Hopkin's Cemetery.
