SALISBURY, Md. - Ann L. Barrett, formerly of Hartly, passed away on July 9, 2007, at Salisbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where had spent the last three years.
She was born in Odessa, to parents, Eva and Howard Tibbitt.
Mrs. Barrett was married to the late Clifford M. Schaube of Goldsboro, Md., for 17 years with the marriage ending in divorce.
She later married Kenneth Barrett, who died in 2001.
Mrs. Barrett worked for Playtex and General Foods and following retirement was an education assistant in the Capital School District.
She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Camden for many years.
Mrs. Barrett was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Tibbitt.
She is survived by a devoted daughter, Kay (Schaube) Niblett and her husband, Dick of Ocean Pines; grandchildren, Kimberly Basko of Newtown, Pa. and Pamela Alstede and Eric Alstede, of Chester, N.J.; loving great-grandchildren, Alyssa Basko, Breanne Basko and Justin Alstede; beloved niece, Suzi Keller and husband, George of Dover.
A private interment will be held at a later date.
Donations in her memory may be made to the nearest Hospice, or to a charity of choice.
Arrangements are being handled by the staff of Bounds Funeral Home in Salisbury.
