SMYRNA - Andrea Michelle Dolley-Henry, daughter of Virginia S. Dolley and the late Joseph E. Dolley, Sr. was born on May 18, 1956 in Wilmington. She transitioned from this life to her heavenly resting place on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Bay Health Hospital, Dover. Andrea was educated in the Smyrna School System, graduating from Smyrna High School in 1975. She attended Delaware Technical & Community College for two years. Employed at Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill for thirty-three (33) years, Andrea served as a Certified Nursing Assistant and was working in the Logistics Department at the time of her retirement. Andrea was a proud and dedicated member of Morning Star Chapter #7, Order of Eastern Star, Prince Hall Affiliation. She served in several positions completing her cycle with the position of Worthy Matron. She also served in St. Matthews Grand Chapter in a number of positions and was the Second District Grand Dean at the time of her demise. She loved the Eastern Stars and was always a willing worker to make the organization shine. Andrea also served the Kent County Department of Elections in many capacities. Affectionately known as "Peachie" by her family and devoted friends, Andrea enjoyed people, cooking, decorating, travelling and planning special events. She was especially appreciated for her special baking. Her mind was always clicking and planning new and different things to do. Her passing leaves a great void. Andrea was preceded in death by her father, Joseph E. Dolley, Sr.; and her brother, Chris Dolley. She will be greatly missed by daughter, Pillar Dolley; son, Kristopher Dolley; devoted mother, Virginia S. Dolley; one brother, Joseph Dolley, Jr.; five sisters, Stephanie Lowery (James), Vanessa Dolley, Jo-Ann Butcher, Robin Price (Stacey), and Bridgette Dolley-Wilson (Donald); a devoted partner, Glen Henry; God-Child, Trillion America Wilson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Centennial Church, 48 E. Mt. Vernon St., Smyrna, DE 19977 where friends may call two hours prior to the service.
