Ammon E. Miller, 85 GREENWOOD - Ammon E. Miller, of Greenwood died at the home of his daughter on Monday, June 28, 2010. He was 85. Ammon was born on Feb. 16, 1925, in Dover to the late Eli and Annie Miller. He was a logger and a farmer. Ammon was a member of Cannon Mennonite Church. He enjoyed gardening, music and being around his family. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Irvin and Henry Miller. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jean Riehl Miller; three children and their spouses, Virgil and Shari Miller of Milford, Bruce and Ellie Miller of Denton, Md., and Peggy and Gene Mast of Greenwood; a adopted daughter Teresa Miller of Greenwood; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Esther Chaffinch of Harrington, and Effie Yoder of Houston. Viewing will be held Saturday, July 3, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cannon Mennonite Church. Funeral services will be held Sunday, 3 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements by Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
