REHOBOTH BEACH - Amanda Mann, of Rehoboth Beach, died peacefully at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford on Thursday, April 10, 2008. She was 45.
She was born on Feb. 27, 1963, in Upland, Pa., daughter of the late William H. and Judith Schwartz Mann.
Amanda lived a very challenged life but it did not keep her down.
She especially loved smiley faces, butterscotch candy, Friday lunches at McDonald's, having her hair done, trips to her brother's home, three-wheel bikes and having cash.
She is survived by her brothers, Christopher Drew Mann and his wife Tina, and Chip Carpenter; and uncles, Robert McVey and William Mann.
The family extends a special thank you to her special "sister" Betty Mann and her caregiver Carla Griffen.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday in the Epworth Methodist Cemetery, Henlopen Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, with Deacon John Smith officiating.
Memorials can be made to Salvation Army, Millsboro.
Arrangements by Parsell Funeral Enterprises, Lewes.
