Alton Ebling

Alton Ebling, 75 HARRINGTON - passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. He was born on April 6, 1937 in Ridgely, Md. to the late Amos S. Ebling and Dorothy E. Allendar. Mr. Ebling was an US Air Force Veteran serving from 1958 through 1965. He worked for the National Security Administration as a data systems operation specialist, retiring as a Division Chief in 1974. He was an active member of Calvary Wesleyan Church, Harrington. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his son, Brian Ebling. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ginny Cain Ebling; three sons, Marshall Ebling of Felton, Greg Ebling of Dover, and Curtis Ebling of Denton; two brothers, George A. Ebling of Kent Island, Md. and Michael Ebling of Hampton, Va.; three sisters, Vera V. Cohee of Lakeland, Fla., Phyllis Semans and Mary Alice Hatter both of Ridgely, Md.; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several step grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 22 from 7 to 9 PM in the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greenbsoro, MD. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 in the Calvary Wesleyan Church, Harrington, where family and friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Interment will follow the service in the Ridgely Cemetery, Ridgely, MD.
