
Woolery Overkamp, 84 DOVER - Alta Juanita Woolery Overkamp passed away in her home in the loving presence of her family on Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012. She was born in Iberia, Missouri on May 29, 1928 to Earnest and Ollie Belle Woolery. Alta worked as a telephone operator at General Foods for 20 years; where friends may have better known her as Jerry Dolan. Alta enjoyed making jewelry, going to auctions, antiquing, making doll house furniture, quilting and sewing. Alta is preceded in death by her parents, Earnest and Ollie Belle Woolery. She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Alvin F. Overkamp; she is also deeply missed by her children, Patrick A. Dolan, of Texas, Michael E. Dolan of Rehoboth, and Sara E. (Dolan) Soules, and her husband, Michael, of Magnolia; she is also remembered by her grandchildren, Erin (Soules) Rivera of Wilmington, Kimberly A. Soules of Arlington, Va., Brian and Kyle Dolan, of Smyrna, and Shane Dolan of Dover; as well as her great-grandchildren, Katherine, Kyle, and Ashley Dolan of Dover; her brother, Nile Woolery of Miller Co., Missouri; her step-daughter, Pam Handy of Texas; Diane Dolan, the mother of Brian and Kyle Dolan, and Lynn Walsh, the mother of Shane Dolan; as well as a host of other family and friends. Alta will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. Services will be private.
