Alma Winona Ansbach

HARRINGTON - Our beloved Alma Winona Ansbach (DeLuca), age 72, of Harrington, (formerly of East Stroudsburg, Pa.) went home to be with her Savior on Monday, April 9, 2012 in Glendale, Ariz. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints (Ps. 116:15). She was the wife of Sam Ansbach (deceased in 2011). She was the wife of Salvatore DeLuca for 30 years (deceased in 1997). Born in Denton, Texas, she was the daughter of Allen Edward Kincade and Mildred Marie Lindsay. She was a member of Independent Bible Fellowship Church in Harrington, and formerly a member of Faith Community Church in Camden, and Victory Baptist Church in Brodheadsville, Pa. She was a member of the Gideons Women's Auxiliary and created a music ministry she called "Testimony in Song," sharing her beautiful voice with her small part of the world. Winona was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her sons, Tony Rumfield of Loveland, Ohio, and Martin Rumfield of Harrington; and her daughter, Rosalind Womack-DeLuca of Glendale, Ariz.; her sister, Annetta Hoeck of Fla.; cousins, Donna Kay Baker and Syble Garrison of Texas; her niece, Laura; and nephew, Rob; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Slate Belt Nazareth Baptist Church of Pen Argyl, Pa. will hold a memorial service 1 p.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2012 with a luncheon. A graveside service will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Snydersville, Pa. Independent Bible Fellowship Church of Harrington, will hold a memorial service 6 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2012 with a dinner to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Gideons International.
