RHODESDALE - Allie Wayne Christopher, 71, passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

He was born Jan. 12, 1936 in East New Market, son of the late Charles Edward Christopher Sr. and Martha Harvey Christopher Shores.

Mr. Christopher served with the National Guard from 1956 to 1960. He was employed by Western Electric in Baltimore as a machine operator, retiring in 1987.

In December 1990 he and his wife moved from Essex to Rhodesdale.

Mr. Christopher is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Christopher of Rhodesdale; two sons, Mark A. Christopher and his wife, Sharon of Galestown and Allie W. Christopher Jr. and his wife, Dalette of Baltimore; two sisters, Shirley Andrews of Hurlock and Janice L. Hayman of East New Market; a brother, Jack W. Christopher of Hurlock and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles E. Christopher Jr. and Roy L. Christopher.

Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight at the Zeller Funeral Home in East New Market. Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wesley K. Andrews officiating. Burial will follow in the East New Market Cemetery.
