Allen Benjamin Parsons Sr.

Parsons Sr., 73 LAUREL - Allen Benjamin Parsons Sr. died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012. Born in Salisbury, Md., he was the son of Thelma Haddock and James E. Parsons. He was an industrial mechanic for Allen Foods. He attended Mt. Pleasant Church in Laurel. He is survived by two sons, Allen B. Parsons Jr. of Bridgeville and Brian K. Parsons of Laurel; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Bailey Parsons, in March of this year. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 in Mt. Pleasant Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front & King Sts., Seaford, DE, from 11 a.m. to noon, prior to the service.
