VIOLA - Alfred H. Larsen passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at home. Mr. Larsen was born in Edison Township, New Jersey to the late Hans Larsen and Idella Buys Larsen. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Larsen worked for 27 years, retiring in 1994 from Johnson and Johnson as a machinist. He was a member of the Antique Auto Club of Delaware, and had restored a Model T, Model A and a 51 Chevy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Rhodes Larsen in 2007. He is survived by his son, Anthony Apice, Jr. of Woodbridge; daughters, Bonnie Ann fletcher of Richmond, VA, Cynthia Waddell of Mechanicsville, VA, Deborah Stapelkamp of Brandywine, Cheryl Correia of Jackson, NJ and Annette Pegis of Cincinnati, OH; brother, Norman Larsen of Oldbridge, NJ; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10AM, Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 6-8 Friday evening. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Sandtown. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. Dupont Highway, Dover, De 19901.
