BRIDGEVILLE - Alan Lewis "A.J." Joseph died Wednesday, Feb.18, 2015 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadephia. Born in Milford, he was the son of the late Margaret Lloyd Joseph and Roy Thomas Joseph of Seaford. He was a welder working out of Sheet Metal Workers Local 100 in Baltimore. Alan was a veteran of the U.S. Army; lifetime member of the National Rifle Association; Men's Auxiliary of VFW Post 4961, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Seaford; a member of the Wildlife Habitat; the 4H Shooting Sport; and was an avid hunter. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Anna Bawel Joseph of Bridgeville; a son, Alex A. Joseph of Bridgeville; two daughters, Amber C. Bataille of Farmington, and Amie D. Roedersheimer of Bear; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2015 at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front & King Sts., Seaford, DE, where friends may call from 1 - 2 p.m. prior to the service. A committal service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
