CRISFIELD - Agnes Blanche Cullen, 92, died Friday, May 2, 2008 at the home of her caregiver, Cathy Arndt.
Born in Crisfield on December 14, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Wade H. Cullen, who died in 1954 and the late Mary Ola Garrison Cullen, who died in 1940.
She was a graduate of Crisfield High School, class of 1933 and Strayer Business College in Baltimore. She worked in the Social Security office in Baltimore for 30 years.
She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Marion Station.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Arintha Porter, Iva Ola Rosse, Jessie, Nina, Fletcher, Woodrow, Hampton, John "Jack", Joe, Olan "Tom", Norwood, and Hoke Cullen.
Memorial services will be held today (Wednesday, May 7) at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Interment will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions made in her memory may be sent to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, Md. 21802-1733.
Arrangements are in the care of Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home.
