REHOBOTH BEACH — An adult and five teens were arrested following a shoplifting investigation that began Monday and ended with a vehicle pursuit.
Delaware State Police Master Cpl. Leonard DeMalto said that the suspects fled following the shoplifting complaint at the Under Armour store, 36698 Bayside Outlet Drive, at approximately 3:45 p.m. Troopers spotted the vehicle on Coastal Highway, and a pursuit ensued. The SUV became disabled due to a tire-deflation device, and the six occupants then fled on foot, he said.
