FRANKFORD - Adela P. Cain, age 68, of Frankford, formerly of Summerville, S.C., passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, April 8, 2012, at her home. Mrs. Cain was born on April 30, 1943, in the Philippines where she met her husband and moved to the United States in 1968. Adela enjoyed sewing, flowers, doing yard work, singing and bowling. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bethany Beach, Del., and a member of the Philippine Cultural Group in South Carolina. Adela was also deeply devoted to her family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Leroy "Donald" Cain; a daughter, Sunny Cain of Roxana; two grandsons, Alex and Ace; three sisters, Helen Pinca and Nelly Wolbert, both of the Philippines, and Nory Doyle and her husband Francis of Severna Park, Md.; and a brother, Gil Pinca of the Philippines; a brother-in-law, Eddie Cain and his wife Ellen of Houston; a special cousin, Sharon Jones of Salisbury, Md.; and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 13, 2012, at the Ocean View Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Rd., Ocean View. A funeral service will be noon, Saturday, April 14, at Mariner's Bethel United Methodist Church, 81 Central Ave., Ocean View, where friends and family may call after 11:30 a.m. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Dagsboro. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Adela's name to Compassionate Care Hospice, 28467 DuPont Blvd., Unit 6, Suite 6, Millsboro, DE 19966; or the Alzheimer's Association of Sussex County, P.O.
