A. Gertrude Marshall, 85
CAMBRIDGE - A. Gertrude Marshall, 85, of The Neck District, died Friday morning, Dec. 8, 2006, at Dorchester General Hospital, Cambridge. She was 85.
Born Dec. 3, 1921, at Mill Creek Farm, The Neck District, she was the daughter of the late Chaplain A. and Reita S. Spedden.
On Dec. 14, 1941, she married William Earl Marshall. He died on June 10, 2004.
Mrs. Marshall had attended Beckwith United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Marshall had worked at Linton's Store and Endicott Johnson Shoe Store in Cambridge many years ago.
Surviving is her son, Dennis Wayne Marshall of the Neck District, Cambridge; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Nelson and Bonnie Marshall of Golden Hill; sister-in-law, Charlotte Fleming Spedden of Salisbury; and a nephew, Scot Marshall of Los Angeles.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband was a brother, Donald L. Spedden.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Spedden-Seward Cemetery, Hills Point, Cambridge. The Rev. Don A. Schell will officiate.
