Winifred Webb Dial

CRISFIELD - Winifred Webb Dial passed away on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016 at McCready Memorial Hospital. Born in Crisfield on Sept. 2, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Kathryn Lankford Webb. Her husband, Raymond Patrick Dial preceded her in death on Nov. 11, 1967. A 1948 graduate of Crisfield High School, she was a Licensed Practical Nurse at McCready Hospital for 32 years. She loved working with her hands doing crafts including crocheting, knitting and plastic canvassing, which was her favorite. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Jane Priscilla Dial in 1990 and Julie Kathryn Cullen in 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Jones, of Crisfield; five grandchildren, Tom Jones and wife, Sara, of Crisfield, Paul Cullen, Jr., Lisa Cullen, Cara Cullen, and Patrick Cullen; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Hannah, Ella, and Jack Jones; several other great-grandchildren; and her cousin, Betty Tyler, of Crisfield. A graveside funeral service and interment was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, 2016 at Sunnyridge Memorial Park. The Rev. Bob Daniels officiated.
