EDEN - Wilma C. Lewis, 59, of Eden, died peacefully in Baltimore surrounded by her loved ones Friday, Nov. 12, 2010. She was born Feb. 21, 1951, in Salisbury to the late Ralph J. Bunty and Margaret M. (Freyeisen) Bunty of Parsonsburg, Md. Wilma was a devout catholic who worshiped daily at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church where she also volunteered in the church office and humbly served as a sacristan. She also enjoyed singing in the choir at Salisbury University directed by Dr. William Folger. Wilma had many interests including reading, Sudoku, gardening and touring the world via cruises. Her role as a devoted and loving mother will be forever missed. She brought light and humor to everyone she met and was deeply loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed searching out one of a kind unique finds as well as useful bargains, at local thriftshops, which she readlily gifted to anyone she thought would benefit. She was a devoted animal lover and especially loved her cat Annie, her dogs Ruby, Todd, and Sophie and her cockatiel Spunky. Wilma worked at Peninsula Bank in the Princess Anne Main Branch since 1979 and retired after the PNC acquisition in 2007. In addition to her mother, she is survived by son, Matthew F. Adams of Eden; daughter, Jacqueline K. Propst and her husband, Benson of Fruitland; a brother, Dennis Bunty and his wife, Kathy of Howard County, Md.; a grandchild, Kaylyn Propst of Fruitland; and a nephew, Kris Bunty. A Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, 501 Snow Hill Rd. Salisbury, Maryland 21804.
