SALISBURY - William Walters of Salisbury died peacefully on Jan. 22, 2015. Born in Deal Island, he was 87. He was predeceased by his wife Frances, his daughter Tracy and his son Jerry. His parents were Addie and William Walters of Deal Island, also deceased. He is survived by a son, Robert, and a daughter, Tammy Gharbi, as well as four grandchildren. He was retired from Dresser Industries. He worked on the water for much of his life and also served in the Merchant Marines. A funeral was Thursday at Bounds Funeral Home, with burial following at Wicomico Memorial Cemetery.
