DAGSBORO - William Paul Nichols, died on Monday June 17, 2013 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Del. He was born in Hurlock, Md., the son of the late Paul Wheatley and Virginia (Boston) Nichols. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Hughes in Nov. of 2012. He is survived by his son, Michael (Pat) Nichols; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; his son-in-law, Michael Hughes all of Ohio; two brothers, David (Mary) Nichols of Waco, Texas and Alan (Louise) Nichols of Hurlock, Md. He is also survived by his best friend and significant other, Mary Banks of Dagsboro, Del. Services will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Unity Washington United Methodist Church, 112 North Main St., Hurlock, MD. 21643. Inurnment will be at Washington Cemetery in Hurlock, Md. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Bill's name to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
