SALISBURY - William Mastin Mullinix, 82, of Hebron, died Sunday, July 19, 2015, at Salisbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Frederick, Md., he was the son of the late King Jones Mullinix and Annie Rachel Gillis Mullinix. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, where he served as a medical technician. He was a member of The Uprising in Hebron. He worked as a psychiatric nurse for over 40 years, retiring from the Eastern Shore State Hospital Center in Cambridge. He is survived by six children, William Martin Mullinix of Hebron, Constance Ann Deardorff of Parsonsburg, Daniel Addison Mullinix of Willards, Teresa Marie Tighe of Finksburg, Md., Sandra Lee Andrews of Hebron, and Vincent John Mullinix of Delmar; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Lee Snow Mullinix; two brothers, Vincent King Mullinix and Ralph Thomas Mullinix; and a sister, Emily Mullinix. A Celebration of Life was held on Friday, July 24, 2015, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A committal service with military honors followed at Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron.
