SALISBURY - William Edward "Bill" Greene died Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020. Born in St. Petersburg, Fla., her parents were the late Luther Greene Sr. and Dorothy Doughty West.
Growing up in Salisbury, he graduated from James M. Bennett High School in 1977. He worked at the former Linens of the Week, now Hand Craft Linens. He was an active member of the Kingdom Hall in Fruitland.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Brenda Parker Greene of Pocomoke City; his daughters, Kim Mason of Salisbury, Erin Kenny of Delmar and Tammy Miciotto of Salisbury; his sons, Tony Dashiell of Minneapolis, Minn., Pat Braxton of Hyattsville, Md., and Freddy Braxton of Glen Burnie, Md.; a brother, Luther Greene Jr. of Defuniak Springs, Fla.; a sister, Melody Greene of Columbus, Ohio; a stepfather, Elwood West of Lakeland, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Deborah Cash and Cyrethea "Rea" Rice; and a daughter, Avon Braxton.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
