Will the next generation take care of your farm?

PRINCESS ANNE — Is the next generation prepared to take over your farm? What do they need to know for a smooth and secure transition?

On Wednesday, Nov. 30 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Somerset County Extension will host an intensive one-day workshop focused on assisting farmers with the best way to communicate their objectives to family about the future of the farm. Additional sponsors include the University of Maryland Agriculture Law Education Initiative, USDA, the Maryland Department of Agriculture, Nationwide Insurance and DPI.
