Wanda M. Foxwell, 85 SALISBURY - Wanda M. Foxwell, 85, of Salisbury, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, at Salisbury Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born in Toddville on March 23, 1924, and was a daughter of the late Herbert A. Moore, Sr. and Hazel Dykes Moore. Mrs. Foxwell attended schools in Cambridge. On Nov. 23, 1947, she married Wallace H. "Dude" Foxwell. He passed away on July 2, 2003. She worked at Rob Roy and Western Publishing Company. Later in life she was a homemaker. She is survived by a son, Gary L. Foxwell and wife Lois of Salisbury; two grandsons, Christopher B. Foxwell of Baltimore, and Michael A. Foxwell of Salisbury; a brother, Herbert Moore, Jr. and wife Frances of Cambridge; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Foxwell was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathleen Lowe and Annabelle Hurley. Pallbearers will be Jim Hogan, Ricky Moore, Christopher Foxwell, Michael Foxwell and Larry Elzey. A funeral service will be 1 p.m., today, Jan. 29, at Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge with Rev. A. Delmer Willey, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery near Hurlock. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
