FEDERALSBURG - Wallace A. Bolden, 72, died on Friday, July 20, 2007 at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Federalsburg, he was the son of the late Elmer Benjamin Bolden and Alice Roberta Bolden.

At the time of his death he was employed at Chic-Pea Plant in Bridgeville, Del.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Emma Lee Bolden of Federalsburg; two daughters, Shirley Ann Collins and Glenda Marie Washington, both of Cambridge; three sons, Maurice Bolden of Hurlock, David Bolden and Gregory Bolden of Marydel; one brother, Elmer Lee Bolden of Washington; one sister, Martha Carr of Baltimore; two sisters-in-law, Ida Bolden of Washington and Daisy Bolden of Federalsburg; three daughters-in-law two sons-in-law; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by one son, Wallace Bolden; one sister, Shirley Mae Bolden; three brothers, Leon Bolden, Corinthian Bolden, Sylvester "Big 4" Bolden, and his twin, Calvin Bolden.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, at the Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Hurlock with a public viewing one hour prior to service.

Burial will be at the Federal Hill Cemetery in Federalsburg.
