The menu is the same — steamed crabs, steamed clams, steamed corn along with raw clams, fried clam strips, fried fish, sweet potato fries, French fries, onion rings and watermelon. Pepsi, bottled water, draft beer also served. Among those committed to be here is Gov. Larry Hogan, who is skipping the Republican Convention as he is not a supporter of presidential-nominee Donald Trump. This is the largest fundraiser for the Crisfield Area Chamber of Commerce and expected to draw thousands of visitors.

To prepare, volunteers are needed to bag clams 5 p.m. Sunday, July 17 at H. Glenwood Evans & Son on Jersey Island. Refreshments will follow.

In addition to general admission, The Crab Trap will open to 400 ticket holders who paid a $15 premium. This hospitality tent — which is already sold out — has its own entertainment, private restrooms and beer available. Corporate tents also will be on the grounds as well.
